Imperfect Parenting

From the moment they were conceived, my mind, body and soul made an irreversible shift into motherhood and mothering. This love is love like no other and from the depths of my soul, I want Xavier and Xander to know and see that I love them with all my heart; unconditionally and imperfectly.  There's a difference, however, between imperfect parenting and trauma-inducing parenting. So, let's reflect on how past, present and future parenting can heal or hurt a generation. SANKOFA!
